Winter is coming! To celebrate the joy of now disappearing snow,  a selection of 8 prints, of which this is number 3, from the work of a virtually unknow designer and printer, Toru (Tohoru) Shimizu

Toru Shimizu was born in 1938 Toyama prefecture.
He was a self-taught hanga artist. His style is detailed and descriptive.
Series of prints include, "Snow Country (Yukiguni) 1971, Four Seasons in Japan (Nihon no Shiki) 1973-74, Autumn in Paris (Pari no Aki) 1974.
